Matt Wray took his first ever race victory at the Newtownabbey XC Veterans Race. Matt finished well clear of his nearest rival, rumour has it the victory celebration looked well rehearsed.
Sasha Hooks, running for BRA, took the U14 girls prize, again well clear of her nearest rival.

Gareth Hill led home the men's team at the McConnel Shield XC. With his fastest ever run over the mud at Ballyclare, Gareth came home in 17th, just 2 places ahead of Matt Wray and 10 ahead of Ian Barrett. Matt continued his execellent run in the Vet40 categaory by claiming 4th spot.

Mark Kirk took 2nd place in the veteran trial race at the Comber Cup XC, to secure his selection for the Northern Ireland team. Matt Wray just missed out on automatic selection in 8th.

 Barely a week into winter training and Ballymena & Antrim mustered 2 teams for the Wallace Park relays. A commendable early season showing saw the 'A' team finish 7th and the 'B' team 12th. Eddie King was the fastest BAAC runner on the day, clocking just 1sec over 10min for the 3300m course.
