Remarkable Kyles still available
The book that charts the history of Maeve & Sean Kyle's sporting odyssey, along with that of Ballymena & Antrim AC and pretty much athletics in Northern Ireland as a whole, is still available from the club offices. If you haven't got your hands on a copy of this important almanac yet, then contact us and a copy will can be sent to your home address. The book is priced at £10, with and extra £2 to cover the cost of postage.

 
BAAC at the Europeans Print E-mail
BAAC athletes were well represented at the recent European Nations Cup. For the men, competing in Slovakia, Paul Brizzel won the 100m in a season's best 10.68 and also anchored the 4x100m team to victory.

In the field, Caolan Flanagan took 6th with a season's best High Jump clearance of 2m00 and Leslie Leung managed a personal best Triple Jump of 13m72 to also claim 6th spot.

The women were in Prague, and Anna Boyle claimed 2nd in the 100m and also helped Ireland claim a new National Record as they took 3rd spot in the 4x100m. Clare Wilkinson also added to the points tally with a personal best in the Pole Vault.
